On October 18, the 33rd “Golden Bull Award” ceremony took place in Chengdu, marking the official launch of the Golden Bull · Tianfu Gift IP Creation Plan.

Founded in 1992, the “Golden Bull Award” was initiated with the aim of nurturing creative talent and advancing cultural and creative education and industry development. The award provides a creative platform that spans various fields, including cultural tourism, film, advertising, animation, art, merchandise, fashion, technology, and design.

The current edition of the award attracted participation from over 1,000 universities across more than 10 countries. Global judging sessions were held simultaneously in Beijing and Taipei in June, culminating in the selection of 365 award-winning works from over 100,000 entries.

During the event, 26 different awards were presented. Zhang Haoqing from the China Academy of Art won the 2024 Best Golden Bull Award for her piece titled “No Concealment, Seeing Every Side.”

Reflecting on her experience, Zhang stated, “Many friends from Taiwan participated, and we exchanged a lot—not just about creativity but also about learning and life.” She emphasized that the “Golden Bull Award” provides a valuable platform for youth across the Taiwan Strait and globally to connect and share experiences.

Over the years, the “Golden Bull Award” has continually expanded its format and content to enhance its appeal while leveraging its influence to organize exchange activities for young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, successfully establishing a collaborative platform for youth interactions.

Ma Xiaoguang, Vice President of the Cross-Strait Relations Association, remarked that with the mainland’s comprehensive deepening of reform, expansion of openness, and promotion of high-quality development, creative young people from both sides, especially those from Taiwan, will have ample opportunities to showcase their talents and realize their dreams in the grand process of Chinese-style modernization.

On the same day, the Chengdu Panda Tourism Culture Industry Promotion Association, the China Academy of Art, and the organizing committee of the “Golden Bull Award” signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the Golden Bull · Tianfu Gift IP Creation Plan. The three parties will work together to explore high-quality cultural and creative intellectual properties (IP) that embody Tianfu culture and drive their implementation and commercialization, thus forming a market-oriented path for the value of cultural and creative IP through aggregation, effective implementation, and profit-making.

This year’s “Golden Bull Award” was organized by the Wang Wang Zhong Shi Media Group and the Chengdu Media Group (Chengdu Media Industry Group).
